JICM, Bhopal students do a special screening of ‘Trasdi’, a docudrama on Bhopal Gas tragedy for Media.
Students of Jagran Institute of Communication & Management, Bhopal recently launched ‘Trasdi’, a docudrama to pay tribute, on 26th anniversary of the world’s biggest industrial disaster -Bhopal gas tragedy.
The main objective of creating Trasdi is to create awareness among the youth about one of the world’s biggest industrial disaster - Bhopal gas tragedy. In commemoration of the 26th anniversary of the disaster - the students of JICM have taken an endeavour to sensitize the people of Bhopal about the catastrophe and its detrimental repercussions till date.
The film captures the life of the common people of the city before and after the tragedy. To understand the gravity of the situation, the documentary features interviews with the youth, doctors and victims of the disaster.
Shot in a timeframe of 4 days at various locations in Bhopal, the docudrama is directed by JICM students under the guidance of Mr. Janak Bhatt. The production team also included various experts from the industry.Mr. Satyavrat Mudgal who wrote the script; Mr. Raju Kumar handled cinematography whereas Mr. Shashidhar Mishra provided technical assistance.
The students have decided to dedicate a month to screen the documentary at various places and spread awareness about the same. Recently it was shown at Bittan Market, Bhopal.
